Trout Stocking

Over the last 50+ years, we have carefully selected our trout brood stock so that we may provide you with trout that are not only excellent growers, but exceptional fighters with great color, hardiness and taste. Our cold, clean water supplies allow us to serve our customers year-round with high quality trout. So whether you are looking for fish to stock your pond, put up a great fight, or serve as the centerpiece for your next meal, we can help.

All prices are per pound. Prices may change and do not include any applicable state taxes. Other sizes may be available in your area. Please call or email for information.

About how many fish will you get? LBS ordered / 2 = approximate number of fish (fish in the 12-20” range are 2lbs/fish on average)

Orders of a specific number of fish as opposed to pounds will incur a charge of $5/fish ordered. (Example - If you want exactly 10 fish in the 12-20” range, that would be an additional $50 and the total cost of the order can only be given after 10 fish are pulled out and weighed.)

ORDERING

We do not ship fish via common carrier; they must either be delivered on our trucks or picked up. You can place an order by phone or email, but we need a complete order at least one week in advance of delivery or pick up date. We accept orders on a first placed, first served basis, so please order early so that we may reserve a date and time for your order. Please always check with your state’s regulatory authority before stocking fish to see if any permits are required and to make sure it is legal in your area.

Fish must be paid for with cash or check prior to or on delivery or pick-up.

DELIVERIES

We deliver trout throughout most of PA, OH, WV, DE and VA. Catfish, seasonally available, can be delivered in PA only.

Deliveries require a minimum order of $750 worth of fish plus delivery. If your order is $2000 or more in fish, we waive the first 50 miles of delivery.

Currently, if you are flexible with your delivery date and time (you give us the week you are looking to receive trout and we get back with you on what day and time work), delivery fees are $3.50/loaded mile (one way), with a minimum charge of $50. If you need a specific date and/or time, and we can accomodate that specific date and/or time, delivery fees are $3.50/mile (round-trip) unless we are able to combine your delivery with another.

Deliveries include 30 minutes of stocking time. Additional time is $50/30 minutes. Additional fees may apply for stockings that are outside of regular business hours (when available), or requesting an order be split among multiple tanks for orders that would otherwise not need it.

Our trucks are heavier than most ordinary vehicles. Because of this, we will not leave hard road surfaces if the driver has any doubt about the ground conditions. We never try to make anything more difficult, we just do everything we can to avoid getting stuck. As a general rule, plan for us to not go off-road or through water.

We do not provide the man power to stock the trout. We bring buckets that we will fill with water and fish for you and any helpers you can round up to safely transport them from the truck to the body of water you are stocking.

PICK-UPS

Pick-ups are available at all of our farms during normal business hours, which vary by farm, but they must be scheduled in advance. A deposit may be required, and in some situations we will require pre-payment. There is a $200 minimum order for pick-ups.
